An in-person introduction to improv class for adults. No experience necessary!
Class Description:
This class will teach students the basic principles of long-form improv comedy.
Learn how to create scenes based on audience suggestions, how to develop characters, and how to say "yes, and" to your scene partners in a supportive environment.
No prior experience in improv or theatre is necessary or expected. Many of our Level 1 students have never before been on a stage!
Our Level 1 class is designed to help people feel comfortable on stage, learn the basics, make some new friends, and have fun!

Nikki (Peach)
Nikki (aka Peach) has been performing for over 25 years, has her Bachelors in Theatre & Performance Art and her Masters in Performance Design from one of the top 3 art schools in the world.
She is a professional recording artist & tarot card reader and utilizes her improv knowledge in all of it.
Nikki began taking classes at the HIT in early 2024, and now performs with Neighborhood Gossip, Neighborhood Stinkers & the HIT’s sketch comedy show And Another Thing.
