Remember the first time you saw an improv show and were genuinely absorbed by it? Before you started learning about form, or structure, or "the principles." This workshop is geared towards cultivating that beginner's mind and accessing the joy that we can sometimes forget started us down the path as improvisers. Get ready to get silly and let go of the "good," we'll embrace the mess and focus on supporting each other no matter what rules we're breaking.
Prerequisite: Level 1 of HIT curriculum.
Will Jacobs
Will Jacobs is an actor, writer, and improviser based in New York City. He's toured with the internationally acclaimed group Baby Wants Candy and currently performs at The Upright Citizens Brigade on his Harold team Tiptoe and Betty Team Wig! His comedy series, Olympus: A Retrospective was awarded the Best of Late Night at SeriesFest (2022) and it's currently available to watch at olympusretro.com. He enjoys playing Magic: The Gathering, watching NBA Basketball, and listening to terrible Gen-z meme rap.
