Learn how to write hilarious sketches from the comfort of home! Sketch Writing Level 1 (Online) at The HIT will give students the essential tools to take any comedic idea and turn it into a sketch. What is "the game"? What is a "blackout sketch"? Where do I even start?? Find out all this and much more in this beginner class, taught exclusively online - so you can take this class from anywhere!

Students will be expected to write sketches outside of the classroom to be read each week when the class meets. Each student will finish the class with no fewer than seven original sketches!

The class will introduce students to "the writer's room" and teach the basics of how to collaborate with a writing team.
